It is 6:06am as I make this journal entry.

Yesterday morning was an especially magical moment with mom, Wiggles and I.

We spent a few minutes at the park but there were no playmates for Wiggles, so she chilled and massaged her back on a patch of freshly cut grass.

A few more things to be grateful for;

While I am not taking for granted the things I am usually grateful for, such as my daily bread (coffee & quiet prayer time).

Or the many beautifully peaceful mornings.

Or that my mom got herself to the living room by her own strength this morning. Let me go love her and thank her. Brb. She has been thanked and loved has been expressed. Yes, I did that, I do it often, because I’m glad she’s still here with us.

My sister spent the night over last night, slept on the couch wrong and woke up with a stiff neck this morning. It’s real and pretty bad. I armed her with an icepack that has a velcro strap on it and sent her on her way.

I pray that she experiences a speedy recovery as today is payroll day which is typically very busy for her.

So to begin in the new way of praying;

I am grateful for having slept on The Book of Daniel last night. I don’t quite understand all of it and it took quite a bit of concentration to follow along in the bits I thought I understood. I suspect when it is time for the unclear to become clear to me, you (God) will make it so.

I think this morning I will go back to the book of Genesis, not sure yet. Guide me if you have a suggestion, please.

I enclosed a couple passages up above. They both indicate that God on first contact will paralyze or disable us in some noticeable way, before he relieves us so that we can be charged or engaged with him. I included Paul going blind and Daniel being weak at first contacts.
