Situation Report, Earth to Heaven
A May Day
From the Battlefield to the Throne
My Lord, in desperation, I pen this plea,
A humble soldier, stranded, broken, and free,
Our generals fallen, their troops scattered wide,
To mountains and islands, where shadows hide.
The enemy's propaganda sows chaos and strife,
Their troops well-fed, in earthly wealth they trust and thrive,
Independent companies, a fragmented mass,
With minimal resources, they fight, but how long will they last?
The enemy's might is vast, their intelligence keen,
They strike at the young, in the womb, and in schools, unseen,
Parents hypnotized, unaware of their plight,
They march to the enemy's tune, while they sleep at night.
Food and water corrupted, our minds dulled and slow,
Our hearts hardened, our spirits broken, we bow,
The enemy's strategy, generations in the making,
Their pieces positioned, our grandfathers forsaking.
Your chosen are scattered, confused, and astray,
Some hide in silence, others deaf to your call, they stray,
Distracted by fleshly desires, they cannot see,
The enemy's infiltration, a spiritual decree.
Leadership compromised, your commandments repealed,
Or diluted to benefit the enemy's schemes, we reeled,
But a few strongholds remain, your gospel clear,
They fight with conviction, reclaiming souls, year by year.
Our resources are strained, the enemy presses on,
Their spiritual assault relentless, we move without rest, drawn,
Attacked in our dreams, by friends and family near,
We cannot idle, our numbers unknown, our communications unclear.
The narrow path twists, our direction obscured by weeds,
We need your miracle, Lord, to turn back the tides, to succeed,
The enemy's tactics of division and fraud,
Advance with each season, their ground gained, our spirits flawed.
Yet hope remains, for your chosen have not fully awakened,
Their armor and shields, their power unbroken,
A few hear your trumpet, their eyes and ears clear,
Awaiting your command, Lord, to end this bitter war, to steer.
My Lord, your humble lamb, in desperation, I cry,
For your intervention, your strength, and your light, to torch our sky,
That we may stand firm, with your glory and might,
And drive back the enemy, in your holy, righteous light.
Awaiting your reply, my Lord, I remain,
Your obedient soldier, in this desperate, dire strain.
As a writer, I often find myself in situations where I need a bit of divine inspiration—and a good cup of joe! Just as the apostle Paul found solace and clarity in his solitary confinements, I too, find my best ideas brewing in a steaming mug of coffee.
Your support through "buying me a coffee" not only fuels my caffeine addiction but also ensures that I can continue to bring you uplifting, thought-provoking, and occasionally humorous content. Think of it as a modern-day offering to the scribes of old, who toiled to spread the good word!
So, if you enjoy my ramblings, my musings, and my occasional forays into the absurd, consider supporting my work. Your generosity will keep the coffee flowing and the words pouring onto the page.
Remember, a small act of kindness can go a long way—just ask the widow's mite!
Thank you for your support, and here's to many more cups of inspiration!
That is all and thank you for reading (and watching).
