How Your Engagement Waters Soil You May Never See

Good morning, and hello friends.

I woke up this morning, and my first instinct wasn’t to pray. It wasn’t to meditate or open the Word. My first, honest impulse was to scan the comments and shares from all of you. I think the Father was giving me a nudge, pointing me right back to the idea of “holding patterns”, those spaces where He does His quiet, collaborative work.

I’ve said before that I didn’t come here to be seen. But I did come in obedience, hoping the messages He laid on my heart would find the eyes they were meant for. This morning, looking at the dashboard, seeing who commented, who shared, the little counts that represent your time and attention, it hit me with fresh awe. This isn’t a one-way street. It never was.

When I publish an article, I’m often still unpacking it myself. The full message for me usually lands later, after I’ve sent it out and stepped back. But here’s what’s become wonderfully clear: the message you receive is often different from the one I intended. How do I know? Your comments. Your highlights. The specific lines you quote back, which shine a light on a facet I hadn’t fully considered.

You might be wondering, “What’s your point, Shashue?”

My point is awe. I am in awe of how our God, Yahuah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, works. I get a message for me. You get a message for you. And then, because you shared it, someone else gets a message tailored for them. This is the divine economy of multiplication. It’s the principle Yahusha taught: “Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty” (Matthew 13:8, ESV). Your engagement is the good soil.

Your comments often become the very catalyst for my prayer conversations. You hand me a question, a reflection, a piece of your own walk, and it fuels my next talk with the Father. That conversation deepens my faith, which in turn finds its way back here in future words. And the cycle continues. Your faith stirs mine, and mine, I pray, stirs yours.

This isn’t about metrics. It’s about a garden. Every comment is like watering the soil around a shared idea. Every share is like taking a seed from this plot and planting it in another. We are tending our Father’s garden together. Some of you water, some of you plant, but God gives the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6-7).

So, to each of you who takes the time to like, to comment, to share…thank you. You are not just readers. You are fellow gardeners in this small, sacred plot. You are participating in the upkeep of a space where He is planting, watering, and bringing forth fruit in ways we may never fully see this side of eternity. Keep doing what you’re doing. You are part of the yield.
