I've pursued this knowledge about the size of the remnant for several decades now. The best I can tell, at this point, the remnant is down to 2 or 3 percent of all those who call themselves Christian. It may be better than that in other parts of the world, but those stats are accurate for the USA—to the best of my knowledge.
Just realizing that the two bottomline requirements are to be born again in a close personal relationship with the Messiah immediately shows the extent of the problem. Only the Lord knows, and I assume that He has people who build up those stats a little.
Remember, Jesus was clear that this time would be "as in the days of Noah". He only found 8 people then. Yeshua also mentioned "as in the days of Lot". There were only three people delivered from that. Isaiah told us in one of his endtime prophecies that the Lord will make men as rare as the fine gold of Ophir.
What we do is bear witness to what He's done in our lives, and share how easy it is to come to know Him. All a person has to do is open his or her mouth and ask Jesus what to do. He will guide you through the process. I've strongly learned that I cannot talk anyone into belief. I tried that hard for years. The only thing that works is to stay cleaned up, with all sin repented of, and then ask the Lord to anoint us as we walk and live.
Wow, David. At first I giggled at how much analysis you’d performed on this “KPI” if you will. But that was immediately followed by a grave sorrow by the realization that you might be closer than you think.
I think (and hope), Yahusha will reveal himself to many in (or before) the end days, giving them a chance to repent and praise Him as Lord, Savior and Redeemer. What do you think?
If Jesus is right that only a few there are that enter through The Way, then logically this fact would be controversial, to say the least, to the vast majority of people.
All we can do is pray for friends, family and neighbors and be receptive to the Most High if we have a specific role to play in bringing others to Him. 🙏🏿✝🕊
