God has a plan for us, we just have to recognize it and act on it.

As I may have mentioned before, I’ve been taking care of a friend suffering from what appears to be dementia. He was moved to a nursing home and is not expected to ever leave. I have been taking care of his 2 dogs for months now, walking and making sure that they are well fed every day.

Jerry wants me to find a no kill shelter for them and my wife and I are working on that.

Here’s where I especially see God’s hand. Yesterday, as I was walking them his neighbor Joe, who is suffering from a very serious cancer, came up to me and volunteered his help despite his own problems. Last night, a no kill foster farm contacted my wife and apologized for forgetting to list the dogs on their page. This morning, another of his neighbors came up to me after Mass in the church lot and offered assistance as well.

That’s 3 offers of help in less than a day after months of doing it only with the occasional assistance of my wife!

This comes when I just almost collapsed with my thigh in pain yesterday! I think God knew I needed help and he sent it in abundance.

Have a great and blessed day!

You made the "Fruits of The Spirit" come alive. I like how you demonstrated living out the Fruits of The Spirit throughout our every day, ordinary interactions with other people. Nothing planned, no appointments made. Just quietly going for a walk with Wiggles and letting The Holy Spirit decide who to place in your path that day. I love it!!!! Thank you!!!
