Brilliant, thank you brother!

It's too easy to ignore the plank in our own eyes.

May God forgive me, for every time I am deaf and blind.

Amen! This is the truth and I'm so glad you shared this. People need to worry about the Beast Within

Thank you for reading, Gracella. That pride thing is a slithery, cunning one to box in. It shows its ugly head in so many different ways in our lives that we often don’t recognize. It’s a good habit to ask God daily to reveal these things to us so that we may repent and draw closer to the Him on that narrow path. πŸ™πŸΏβœπŸ•Š

Oh my wooooord! It is SO hard to pray Thy will be done. Seriously.

But then I see John the Baptist say He must increase and I must decrease.

Slap!!! (Echo echo echo)

Laying at the feet of God every day so get this Pride beast under control… this is how I start my day.

Learning that I am nothing but a worm and my greatest works are filthy rags. (Researching those β€œrags” will make you lose your lunch. )

Thanks for this article. I pray it touches many hearts.

That 'slap' has a way of clearing the static, doesn't it, BTD?! You're right, the research on those 'rags' is a quick cure for any lingering self-righteousness. I’ve found that the 'Pride beast' hates the morning watch; it prefers the shadows of the afternoon when we think we’ve accomplished something. Laying at His feet is the only way to keep the internal mechanics aligned for the rest of the day. Thank you for the prayers and for standing the watch with me. πŸƒπŸŒΉ

Thank you for reading. πŸ™πŸΏβœπŸ•Š

PRIDE is the most insidious sin in our lives! It should be confessed every day, and our hearts looked at through a magnifying glass!

GOTCHA

Daily examination with the Holy Spirit is a fruitful way to attack this sin. C.S. Lewis calls it the central sin. I understand why. It comes in many forms and is not always obvious to how it may look in our individual lives. πŸ™πŸΏβœπŸ•Š
